Project Overview

​The City plans annual investment for rehabilitation and renewal of the City’s street infrastructure. The work includes resurfacing, milling and resurfacing, repairing curb and storm inlets, and renewing striping on other streets. In some cases, street renewal requires more extensive work in the form of full depth reclamation (FDR). The City utilizes a transportation infrastructure survey to collect and assess data to score and prioritize street improvements based on severity of defects.​ Included in this is the Ogletree Road Resurfacing project, resurfacing approximately 3.4 miles of Ogletree Road from Wrights Mill Road to Moores Mill Road.

Milling on Opelika Road from Commerce Drive to Saugahatchee Drive was completed this week. Crews moved to Westminster Court and Stratford Lane to patch areas in need. ​
