Project Overview

​The City plans annual investment for rehabilitation and renewal of the City’s street infrastructure. The work includes resurfacing, milling and resurfacing, repairing curb and storm inlets, and renewing striping on other streets. In some cases, street renewal requires more extensive work in the form of full depth reclamation (FDR). The City utilizes a transportation infrastructure survey to collect and assess data to score and prioritize street improvements based on severity of defects.​ Included in this is the Ogletree Road Resurfacing project, resurfacing approximately 3.4 miles of Ogletree Road from Wrights Mill Road to Moores Mill Road.

During the final week of May, Alabama Street was milled and patched, curb and gutter was removed and reinstalled. Paving began today. North Donahue Drive - the concrete crew began demo and installation of curb and gutter/driveway aprons. Stone Pointe Drive - contractor completed asphalt milling. Technology Parkway - the previous curb and gutter has been demolished and the new curb and gutter has been installed. Enterprise Drive - the previous curb and gutter has been demolished and the new curb and gutter has been installed.​
